I am a performer and dance maker interested in collaboration and independently creating my own work.  In 2010, I certified in Alexander Technique and am currently a PhD candidate in Dance Theory and Practice at Texas Woman’s University. I love working with community collaborators and other artists to create interesting conversations through movement. My favorite time is spent in rehearsal-making, thinking about making, and experimenting with dances.

My independent work has been shown at the American Dance Festival, North Carolina Dance Project, North Carolina Dances, and Greensboro Fringe Festival; I have also shown work and performed with Even Exchange Dance Theater and the Rainbow Dance Company.  I currently dance and create work with Crossover Movement Arts as well as making dances with new and old dancing friends all over the country.

I have taught all kinds of dance to all kinds of people.

"And those who were seen dancing were thought to be insane by those who could not hear the music."
